yeah yeah yeah it's newgrounds turning 30 that's cool!!

As I get to the time in the day where the sun outside my window hits my eye like a beam of light hitting my eye, I thought I should share a few thoughts. I've been a part of this site since around 2007 and while I've always enjoyed this place, my appreciation for this website has grown quite a bit these past few years as I become more and more done with what the internet has become. Newgrounds still acts as a true home for what made me love the internet to begin with, a place for pure creativity.

But you've heard all of this from countless other people on this site, that's nothing new. So let me just say that I am proud of all of you for continuing to post your art, games, animations, music, hosting collabs, and whatever else, just remember that you are a part of what has made Newgrounds special these past thirty years.

As far as what I'm making to celebrate, I was planning on an animated segment in an episode of Niche Appreciation Club about Newgrounds but that is absolutely not going to be ready any time soon. Oh well, it happens! I wasn't planning on doing anything else but seeing all the stuff on the site today has me feel like drawing, so that's what I'll do! Also not gonna be uploaded today, but maybe next week! It's not like Newgrounds isn't gonna not be 30 next week. I did contribute to the Fancy Pants on the wall art though, and I'm pretty proud to be a part of that.

I'm glad and grateful that Newgrounds has continued to exist, can't wait for the 40th!
